Owch - ...So sorry to hear about your bicep rupture. Owch - that sounds very painful. Did you have the surgery yet? I hope that you have a quick recovery.

I understand how MTB would be out of the question - but could you do some hiking? I've been thinking of taking that up again myslef.

Sadly, I'm still very injured. I never had the surgery for lots of reasons and my life is ratehr occupied. I just started a PhD. It is going well, but it leaves little time for anything else.

Try to hang in there. I know just how tough it can be.

JJennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04225541944152536143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6765197449046371932.post-74463562023677876502010-07-09T16:02:25.545+01:002010-07-09T16:02:25.545+01:00Hey Jenn,
Sorry to see that you've not posted...Hey Jenn,

Sorry to see that you've not posted in a while.

Sadly, my climbing career has been placed on hold indefinitely. I managed to rupture my bicep a couple of weeks ago. It required surgery and i'm looking at a minimum of 10 months before i can get back at it. given my age and size, i might have to give the whole climbing gig up. Needless to say my spirits have tanked to rock bottom (no pun intended). The beautiful Canadian summer is here and I can't even ride my bike.

sigh....

Hope that you are back into the swing of things.

Cheers,

e.Ed Meershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06079101364912241838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6765197449046371932.post-1622730403606895052010-05-21T15:35:55.192+01:002010-05-21T15:35:55.192+01:00That's awesome Jenn!

I'm definitely bringing my climbing shoes the next time I go to Blighty!

Despite the achy shoulder, I'm glad to see you back at it! The pics are great!

Best wishes,

e.Ed Meershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06079101364912241838noreply@blogger.com
